MATCH is committed to the health and safety of all audiences, artists, and others who use the facility.  We are closely monitoring developments around COVID-19 and the novel coronavirus that causes it, and looking to the Houston Health Department, Harris County Public Health, and other public health authorities for guidance and recommendations.

 

As of today, there have been no recommendations to avoid public gatherings, and accordingly all events at MATCH are expected to go on as planned.  

 

That said, we are taking precautions to ensure MATCH remains safe and comfortable including enhanced daily cleaning and sanitation procedures that emphasize disinfection of public areas.  We are also providing hand sanitizer and tissue in our theaters, rehearsal rooms, offices, and backstage areas.  We encourage everyone to avail themselves of these and take other standard precautions including hand washing.
