Exceeding Autism is a nonprofit organization that was designed to encourage and empower individuals to create a masterpiece of the puzzle we call life. Exceeding Autism strives to provide assistance and support to families that are dealing with Autism each and every day. We are working to provide wholistic education and resources within communities about the prevalence of Autism. Most families want to just survive and autism diagnosis, but Exceeding Autism strives to help you thrive by providing a roadmap of resources for your journey.

Exceeding Autism is a woman-owned, minority-owned organization that was founded in 2018 by Netra Ford, after her son, Neiman was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in 2016 at the age of 2 years old. Around 18 months old, her son went from talking, laughing and playing with his siblings to not making eye contact at all. Netra is the mother of two children, a licensed nurse and former non-profit sector employee. She also serves as Exceeding Autism’s Executive Director. In 2021, Netra was awarded by Houston Business Journal as being one of Houston’s Top 40 under 40. Exceeding Autism & Netra were nationally recognized by Sara Blakely of Spanx as a Red Backpack Fund Recipient.
