Houston Improv Festival (HIF) was formed in 2011 to produce and promote improvisational theater in collaboration with the growing pool of improv acting and comedic talent in Houston.  Since our first festival in the Spring of 2012, HIF has entertained sold-out audiences with performers from Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, and – of course – Houston.  At our festival in 2013 we began offering workshops, and have featured some of the top instructors in the nation.

The live spontaneity of a Houston Improv Festival show makes for highly entertaining and engaging theater.  Audiences are guaranteed a unique one of kind performance never to be seen again.  We look forward to seeing you at a show!
