Exhibit Hours
9:00 AM to 4:45 PM
The museum will run concurrently with the Houston History Alliance's "The History of Houston's Musical SOUL" conference.
Bring your Houston music stories! This one-day only museum is presented by the UH Center for Public History and will include a recording booth where you can tell your story of experiencing music in Houston. The museum will also feature exhibits by many of Houston's local history groups including Wild Dog Archives displaying ephemera from Houston’s wild alternative music scene and a sneak preview of the upcoming "Jazz Church of Houston" installation at Project Row Houses. Also -- DON’T MISS -- Houston blues greats Milton Hopkins, Grady Gaines, and Trudy Lynn will be on hand to meet and greet at the Houston Blues Museum exhibit during the conference lunch break!
