WindSync celebrates its tenth season with a program that explores origins. The featured work, Antoine Reicha’s ebullient E-flat major quintet, represents the very beginning of classical music for the band’s five instruments. The second half of the program takes inspiration from childhood and folklore and showcases WindSync's ability to transform music originally written for piano, strings, and even a full orchestra. In each piece, we find a reflection of ourselves, pieces of our own stories and dreams for the future.
