Shinjini’s Tribute to Grandfather Birju Maharaj

Shinjini Kulkarni, a renowned Kathak dancer from the esteemed ninth generation of the Kalka Bindadin lineage, is the granddaughter of the legendary Kathak Maestro, Pt. Birju Maharaj. Her journey in Kathak began at the age of five, when she started learning under the expert guidance of her grandfather. By the time she was just eight years old, Shinjini began performing, showcasing her talent and dedication to the art form. Since then, she has continued to refine her skills and express her deep passion for dance. Through her captivating performances, Shinjini Kulkarni consistently mesmerizes audiences, earning accolades and recognition for her exceptional artistry and commitment to the classical dance form of Kathak.
